About an hour ago, I received a BBM from my friend about Ms. Flor Morales’ passing. At first, I couldn’t believe it but eventually, little by little, we were given details about her passing. So, on December 24, 2011 Mrs. Flordeliz T. Morales passed away because she drowned at a beach in Davao. She was our batch’s guidance counselor and I have to say she was my favorite. She was very patient and extremely friendly - ready with a smile and her malambing voice to greet you. She was our batch’s rock whenever we had problems that we needed to vent out, or when someone had a personal problem. She was the guidance counselor of our time.

I can’t believe it and it’s not yet sinking in. I can’t believe that she’s gone. Please do pray for Mrs. Flordeliz Tolentino Morales and for her family… Losing a great wife and a very loving mother on Christmas eve really comes as a shock to everyone. She was a great guidance counselor and you could really tell she cared about us - she never forgets your name and still says hi to you even after 5 years of not seeing each other. The whole Assumption community loves her so much she’s a trending topic twice on Twitter. :’( WE LOVE YOU, MS. FLOR. :’( You were more than a guidance counselor to us, you were our friend, our confidante, and even our second mom. We will miss you. :’(
