There are several highly doubtful things with this infographic: Okaaay first of all, the source of this is from WIKIPEDIA. Second, considering this was true (which I really, REALLY doubt), it implies that UP has the lowest standards among “The Big Four”, and UST has the highest. Which I really think is an unfair generalization if you were to base this assumption on this infographic. Third: As far as I know, in UP, there are different grading systems. (It all depends on the prof.) For example, in my Physics 10 class, an “uno” (1.0) is equivalent to having a class standing of 95% or higher. It’s not the same for my Geog 1 class, where you need a standing of 98% or higher. So I think this infographic isn’t really reliable. It all depends on the professors and subjects you’re enrolled in. Again: This isn’t entirely accurate.   Don’t believe everything on tumblr and wikipedia, folks.  ^ What she said. High five Alex! It really depends on the subject and the professor, like in my SocSciI class when I was a freshie. Tres was 70/100. Trust me, that class was the hardest I had so far. Try digesting the different philosophers when you’re seventeen years old! Plus you’re dead meat if you cite Wikipedia as a source in one of your papers in UP. =)) ^ Wikipedia indeed. I’ve seen this thing a bunch of times already and although I’m not from UP (I’m from Ateneo), I have to agree that the grading seen in the picture isn’t really accurate. In one of my classes, we’re required to get an average of 96% to get an A. It really depends on the teacher.
